Kornwestheim, Thanksgiving 2018

TG2018 klein Thanksgiving is a traditional festival and is not only celebrated by Americans. At mm-lab, too, it has become a tradition to make this day something very special. Classically, there is turkey for the entire workforce. Our shareholders Michael Meiser, Lothar Krank and Andreas Streit declare the disassembly of the turkeys into an absolute top priority. That looked like hard work. At least the team could sit back and put aside the work routine at this delicious evening banquet.

Stuttgart, 29.11.2018. For our collision warning system CAVE! We have received recognition in the award ceremony of the Innovation Award of the State of Baden-Württemberg. This puts us among the top ten out of a total of 94 innovations submitted. The awards were presented last night to invited guests with subsequent company presentations by the ten finalists in the König-Karl-Halle in the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart. CAVE! Warns test drivers on automobile test areas to track accurately before collisions and, for example, calculates the exact vehicle distance even in steep-wall curves. The innovation combines precise GPS positioning of all vehicles with state-of-the-art 4G (LTE) data communication, accurate map data and the software developed by mm-lab. The award confirms our efforts to develop state-of-the-art telematics solutions of the highest caliber.

The employees of mm-lab celebrated together with their families in Schloss Beilstein the annual summer party. The late summer weather literally made the historic setting shine. A special was the visit to the nearby Burgfalknerei Hohenbeilstein. In a flight demonstration of various birds of prey e.g. with a vulture and an owl, young and old were astonished. Later there was coffee and cake on the viewing terrace in the castle garden. After the evening buffet in the venerable Kuppelsaal, people sat together and talked for a long time. A big thanks to the team of Schloss Beilstein, who had wonderfully looked after us with professional hospitality and delicious food.

It was a very nice and happy party. We are already looking forward to the next joint celebration with our employees and their families
